Cristiano Ronaldo Supports Turkish and Syrian Earthquake Victims

 



                Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal, assisted earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria by sending a plane full of care packages and paying for the delivery of tents, food packages, pillows, blankets, beds, baby food, milk, and medical supplies to the victims of the disaster, according to the Daily Mail.

                More than 44,000 dead in Turkey and more than 50,000 in Syria last month as a result of 7.8 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes. Ronaldo also met Nabil Saeed, a Syrian youth.

                Almost 46,000 people have already perished as a result of the earthquakes in Turkey, and 6,000 more have perished in neighboring Syria. Tremors continue to rumble Turkey's south a month after the deadly twin earthquakes, and hundreds of people are still living in tents and improvised housing.

                To support the earthquake victims, Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar Jr. earlier auctioned off their personalized jerseys.

               Ronaldo has made such substantial gifts in the past. The captain of Portugal once gave $165,000 to assist build a cancer center in Portugal and $83,000 to cover a child's brain surgery.

                During the height of the coronavirus outbreak, the AL-Nassr FC forward also gave $1,000,000 to Portuguese hospitals.
